First of all the history of this marvellous aeroplane is the reason for the big fascination and the idea to copy it and construct a scale aeroplane. The original (see youtube – Delmar Benjamin, Gee Bee R2) was only aviated successfully by one man, a famous pilot – Delmar Benjamin!

Thus the most important intention for us is to construct a model plane which is absolutely controllable for everyone with experience in flying model planes – in takeoff, flying and landing. “Flying also means – secure landing!”

To reach this target, special profiles are used on the air-foils and tail unit. The EWD is thereby optimised.

For our Gee Bee R2 we mainly use 5-cylinder-radial engines.

The output/the power and the sound of them is similar to the original plane.
